Austin itself is a living metaphor for the challenge training professionals face — how to integrate tradition with technology, innovation and the future. We will visit several organizations that are successfully navigating this.
In the spirit of continuous learning, Austin innovators and trainers are very generous with sharing their knowledge and work. We will interact with numerous leaders from the Austin learning/design/technology ecosystem!
Austin is also known as the Live Music Capital of the World. From gritty blues bands, indie rockers, and solo singer-songwriters to jazz riffs, country twangs, and reggae rhythms, Austin has it all — and in a variety of venues.
Austin fulfills every culinary desire delivered via food trucks, breweries, wineries, distilleries, coffee shops, and restaurants with a mouth-watering mix of diverse cuisines.
It is bursting with creativity, including a fun motto — "Keep Austin Weird" — and a museum to match (Museum of the Weird, natch), plus the Jenga Tower, sidewalk art and colorful murals, and seasonal festivals and exhibitions.
